We’re known primarily for our parish-based Life Teen program for high school teenagers that is used by over 1100 Catholic parishes around the world.* In 2003, we launched a national Edge program for junior high kids which is now used by almost 500 parishes.
To help parishes keep their youth programs strong, we offer Life Support, a box of resources that we mail out three times a year. Inside are planning guides for a teen Mass, youth group meetings (we call them Life Nights), retreats, service projects, Bible studies, etc. Every Life Teen program has instant access to expansive digital archive of old resources on ym.lifeteen.com. While you’re on that site, check out our informative blogs and video training. How many YMs use this site?
Over 2100 teenagers attend Life Teen and Edge Camps each year at RockyVine, Covecrest, and Tepeyac. Teens are given a life-changing week of adventure, prayer, and sacraments in a fun environment. Throughout the rest of the year, parishes use our camps to host retreats and special events. You can learn more at camps.lifeteen.com or take a look at the photos below…
Every year we host over 25 conferences around the country to train a combined 2700 youth ministers, music ministers, core members, and priests. These training conferences help build stronger Life Teen and Edge programs by helping leaders tune into youth culture. We also host 10,000 teenagers at regional events including LT@ND, Steubenville Conferences, and the Inspiration Tour.
lifeteen.com is our website for teenagers. Our goal is to provide relevant content to meet teens where they are. Our most popular content are our two audio podcasts available on our website and on iTunes for teenagers to download to their iPods. Teenagers can flip through 10,000+ photos from our events, watch videos, and get answers to their big questions about the Catholic fiath. How popular is lifeteen.com?
