FAQ4: Why give to a Catholic organization if I am not Catholic?
Posted by: Matt Smith In: Frequently Asked Questions
Regardless of your religious background, no one can deny that the work of Life Teen is universally good for society. We build strong church-based youth groups where teenagers are loved, challenged, and affirmed through their most difficult years. With a positive group of peers and team of committed mentors (Core Members), a teenager is less likely to drop out of school or resort to drugs, violence, or detrimental relationships. Plus, these teenagers are given a strong moral foundation and are challenged to live a selfless life.
Since we are an international organization, we are able to encourage teenagers to see beyond their own borders and stand in solidarity with teenagers from other cultures. We like to believe Life Teen alumni are good citizens of their community and of the world.
